We went to the much talked about Hort Park recently after lunch at the famous Claypot Laksa :)
Developed at a cost of $13 million, it is touted as the first gardening and lifestyle hub in South-east Asia that brings together gardening, educational, research and retail activities under one roof.
It was really a hot afternoon & with minimum shelter. We did not roam the whole place. The kids went to the playground but it was really too hot to sit on the metal slides. However, they had fun running around stopping occassionally to view the plants & fishes. We consumed ALL the 2 litres of water that we brought along during the short 1 hr stay there, you can imagine how much we sweat !! ;pWe planned to go there again very early in the morning so that we can appreciate the park without feeling irritated with the heat :)
