Hort Park is HOT hOt HoT !!

We went to the much talked about Hort Park recently after lunch at the famous Claypot Laksa :)

Developed at a cost of $13 million, it is touted as the first gardening and lifestyle hub in South-east Asia that brings together gardening, educational, research and retail activities under one roof.

It was really a hot afternoon & with minimum shelter. We did not roam the whole place. The kids went to the playground but it was really too hot to sit on the metal slides. However, they had fun running around stopping occassionally to view the plants & fishes. We consumed ALL the 2 litres of water that we brought along during the short 1 hr stay there, you can imagine how much we sweat !! ;p

We planned to go there again very early in the morning so that we can appreciate the park without feeling irritated with the heat :)

Lili : So glad to see you here. You are so busy with the boys & I see you've got great improvement in potty training Ali. Amos is still on diaper. He is such a cheeky boy. He will tell me he wanna to poo when apparently he had already poo on his diaper. Same goes for pee. He refused to pee inside the toilet bowl & after a few mins, he will pee on the floor. *faint* :(

I got very very bad sun burn when I went there. And there thai restaurant at Hort Park is untouchable.

We order two juices and a small bowl of red rubies (only 8 miserable rubies ok) and I paid a shocking $48!!!

Arrrgghhh... Here I am sweating and dripping from the hot Indian summer heat, with the AC of the stuffy cyber cafe conked, only to read something that made things even hotter!

:-)))

Now I am closing my eyes to imagine I am buried deep inside the North Pole... :)

Hi Jan!! Come join the genie meme!! :):):)

Jane : Thanks for the award :)

J@n!ce said...

J@n!ce said...

Marzie : Ok, will be over there :)
