Zachary turned 7 ... ...

How time flies... ... My elder boy, Zac turned 7 years old yesterday (4 Oct 2010).

I cannot help thinking how much he had grown, feeling really emotional when I look at him now... My little baby whom I nursed since birth is now 7 ;~~~~)

Many days before his birthday, Zac asked for a handmade birthday card from me. Yes, that's just what he ask for, a BIRTHDAY CARD from mummy ;p

He is always by my side so I can only work on the card when he is alseep. hehe...

I chose 2 of his favourite colors which is yellow & orange for the cover & the writing sheet respectively ;p

He did not see me working on the card so he kept reminding me if I have done it days before his birthday & again a day before his birthday. hehe.

I told him I'm "busy" but actually I've completed it days before. LOL :D:D:D:D

He hinted to me that he would like to have "goodie bags" for his classmates too. This was really challenging for me cos children his age don't really fancy lots of candies & lollipops. As such, I went around sourcing for useful, cute stuff 2 weeks before his birthday for his 28 classmates (excluding Zac) + 2 for his Form Teacher & Chinese Teacher. Total : 30 gifts.


The "goodie" has to be colourful, useful & not too bulky. Zac has to transport the things alone to school so it must be manageable to him too.

Finally, I decided on Disney character photo frames. They were really colourful & his classmates could make use of them & remember Zac (hopefully!! hehehe). I added 2 "Tom & Jerry" toffee & decorated it on the photo frame as though a "ribbon". I spent quite a few days to re-paste the candies cos it kept dropping down ;p


I'm really satisfied with the output & Zac loved it !! :):)

How can a birthday boy not receive any pressies?

From mummy... ...

From daddy, .....something similiar to "Wii" from Sony PS3. Zac loves it & plays even better than anyone of us :):)

Zac also received presents from his classmates, Jean, Tiara & Nikki.

We had meals at his 2 favourite restaurants. He loves Swensen & japanese food.

His ice-cream cake was from swensen. He chose mango & strawberry flavour. Zac is NOT a chocolate lover. Can you see his unhappy face upon receiving the complimentary mini Coit Tower with lotsa chocolate & nuts? Oh no...

We had Swensen Weekend Breakfast a day before his birthday.

Zac had a sumptuous lunch on his birthday. He had a share in all the below food you see. He ate more than me !! LOL :D

Thank you to all my friends & Zac's friends whom had sent in their birthday wishes for him either through sms or FB. Zac is very happy to read all the messages for him ;)

Lastly, the most memorable moment happened at night. Zac lie-down on the bed beside me & he kissed & thanked me for all the efforts & money incurred to make his birthday possible. I was shocked as I never expected it. He has never said that to me for his passed birthday. My little boy has really "matured" & his little gesture really warms my heart :):):)

Surprise at Faith's 4th Birthday Party :)

My friend, Audrey's princess Faith had a fantastic 4th birthday party in December 2009.



Faith was overjoyed to introduce her favourtie Brand's alpha Shield Chewable C Double Action & Alpha Vision Bilberry with Vit A & Zinc to her friends and cousins. These were the treasures that came along with the goodie bags :) We were delighted all of the kids love the taste of these 2 vitamins.


Though Amos & Zachary did not make it for the party, Audrey had kindly reserved some for them. Look how jolly they were!! In fact, they had been taking the Brand's Vit C, DHA & Bilberry with Vit A & Zinc since 2 years ago. They especially love the taste of Vit C. Zac has been a member of Brand's since then :):)

My friend from Manila

I met up with the lovely Pia from Manila 2 weeks ago on her first trip to Singapore ALONE. She decided to proceed with the trip even though her friend couldn't come along with her. Luckily, she has a brother working in Singapore & stays over at his place.

I was on my way to the hair salon when I received her message via my facebook. She has been trying to contact me but I didn't get her message until her 3rd day in Singapore *sweat*

My hubby & I went to her brother's place to pick her up for dinner. We went to East Coast Park for dinner. Hubby ordered so much local dishes. Fried Carrot Cake, Fried Oyster, Fried Kuay Teow, Chicken & Pork Satay with rice dumplings, Popiah, Dessert & Drinks. Pia was having slight cough but cant resist those food. hahahaha.:D
She told me her favourite among all is Fried Carrot Cake!!

After that, we stroll along the park & then give her a City Night Tour... ...

Pia alighted at Raffles Hotel to take pic after hearing from hubby that her idol, the late Michael Jackson, stayed over at this hotel during his visit to Singapore many years ago :)

We send Pia back home around 10+pm. It was a long day for her cos she visited Sentosa during the day time .... .... alone....... such a daring gal *hugs*

Amos' NEW personalised bag

I ordered the personalised bag for Amos a week ago. This was his belated 3rd birthday pressie given by his beloved auntie Molly. It was delivered via registered mail this morning. Amos was delighted to see his name sewn on it. He chose the design himself from a dozen of choices. I hope the bag can last him throughout his pre-school years since it looks durable & rather spacious ;)

Happy Birthday to Me !!

hahahahaha.... so sweet of him to include Amos in the card. I ask him what he meant by those words. He said that mummy has Amos & me (refering to himself). LOL :D:D:D

I went for supper at Newton Circus with my good friends last Saturday after a late night movie to celebrate my birthday. Its been such a long time since I last dine at Newton Circus. Its a pleasure eating those sinful food you see below. I'm feeling hungry now looking at it. hehe :)~~~~

Yummilicious Muffin from Chocolat N' Spice

My good friend, Yvonne, bought me these muffin recently. She always introduce yummy food to me. She said I will definitely like them !! True enough, they are superb!! :):)

The muffins are soft, moist and not too sweet. I heard that there are many different types of muffins available. The bestseller being the chocolate chip muffin, which you see in the picture. The crusty chocolate rice top and molten chocolate inside can be really addictive.

Amos attended his friend's birthday party last month. The 4 tier cake simply impressive!! The bottom 3 tier were filled with cupcakes. Amos chose the Santa Clause one for himself. So satisfying !! :)

My blog has a NEW look !!

Thanks to Jean for the blog makeover. I've removed a lot of unused widget *sweat*

The above pic is how the previous layout looked like !!

All I need to do is to tell Jean I wanted a fun & sweet purpish (my fav color) with an add of pink layout. The header has to have pic of the 2 boys with me dreaming of them. The whole blog looks so neat & tidy to me now. The idea of blog makeover came to my mind end of last year. However, I wasn't able to launch it in time for the New Year because both Jean & I were busy then. Anyway, it is now finally ready except for a few minor changes which doesn't affect the whole look at all.
