Surprise at Faith's 4th Birthday Party :)

My friend, Audrey's princess Faith had a fantastic 4th birthday party in December 2009.



Faith was overjoyed to introduce her favourtie Brand's alpha Shield Chewable C Double Action & Alpha Vision Bilberry with Vit A & Zinc to her friends and cousins. These were the treasures that came along with the goodie bags :) We were delighted all of the kids love the taste of these 2 vitamins.


Though Amos & Zachary did not make it for the party, Audrey had kindly reserved some for them. Look how jolly they were!! In fact, they had been taking the Brand's Vit C, DHA & Bilberry with Vit A & Zinc since 2 years ago. They especially love the taste of Vit C. Zac has been a member of Brand's since then :):)

They are made of white & dark chocolate. Hubs bought them from HK !! :)

Our first visit to Marina Barrage

The Marina Barrage is Singapore's latest downtown icon. It is built across the Marina Channel between the reclaimed lands of Marina East and Marina South. The Marina Barrage creates Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city. It was officially opened on 1 Nov 2008.

The S$226 million project turns Marina Bay and Kallang Basin into a new downtown freshwater Marina Reservoir. It has a 3 -in 1 benefits of supplying water, flood control & as a lifestyle attraction. You can read more about it here.

We made a trip there last Sat. The boys were too young to understand the purpose of this reservoir. They were more interested in the water splash playground for the children :)

We stayed at the place for nearly 2 hours till our body could no longer withstand the burning heat from the sun :)

Zac was reluctant to leave. I have to assure him we will re-visit the place very soon & the next time round, more equipped !! ie. Sun block lotion and plenty of water :)

Times are getting tougher nowadays and I'm trying to cut down expenses. Wouldn't it be good to receive freebies or free samples along the way?

"Knowing who to call can make all the difference"

We all carry our mobile phones with names and numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends.

If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) Campaign

The concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name "ICE" ( In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as "ICE."

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference!

Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our mobile phones today!!! !

Took this picture before the trip to the Zoo. The series of pictures on the wall was my new creation.

I bought a huge blue frame from Ikea (S$15) & used adhesive backing from 3M to paste those photos there.

This photo was also taken in a way to try out my new camera. I am impressed that its Face Detection feature can actually detect Zac's face (wearing red stripe polo) in the photo frame.

The pictures from my 3 lastest post are taken using the new camera too !!

What do you think of the output from my new camera? :)

Yoghurt Drink good for Zac?

Zac has been drinking the Yoghurt drink since early this year. This is so far the only drink with a bit of milk content that he can finish it without much problem. He will have a cup to go along with his breakfast every morning.

Marigold recently launched a new Strawberry Flavoured HL fresh milk. I went to the website to search this morning & was surprised that their webpage not updated with the New Product. It is still the chocolate flavoured ones.

The new Strawberry Flavoured fresh milk will make a good choice for Zachary who loves strawberries & dislike the taste of plain or chocolate milk. However, he only took a few sip this morning when my helper gave it to him. Looks like he still cannot withstand the taste of milk even when it is flavoured. Sigh.... what should I do now? He is lacking calcium now I could see his nails getting more brittle than usual :(

Do you think the Yoghurt Drink (see first picture) is good for Zac who is turning 4 yrs old. I've been giving him every morning.

Detox Drink

Are u having a constipation? If yes, u may want to try this detox drink.
Confirmed u will "lao sai" (LS) ..... the detox is working lo ...
From my experience, for a start, do not consume the whole bottle, take mebbe half of it.
This is bcos the first time I try the drink, I had 2 mouthfuls. I LS ONCE immediately the next morning, this is a good thing considering the fact that I constipated.
You ask me if I will take the drink again. Yes, if after a heavy buffet meal. But not any other day as I do not like the thought of a sore ass.
It cost $2/bottle at United Sq B1.

Cockroaches ...... Wipeeeeoutttttt

Have been receiving a lot of agent calling asking if we intend to sell our house. Looks like a lot of pple are eyeing on our estate, probably bcos there is a good pri school (Mee Toh) here. Wondering how much is the va$ue now...

Unlikely we will move, where got so much $$. HaIz ...

I was helping my maid to replace the cockroach "Wipeout" (need to replace every 3 mths) when I suddenly recall an incident that happened about 2 mths ago when there were still a lot of small cockroaches in my house, esp the kitchen. That day, I happened to come across 2 "teenage" cockroaches one of top of the other, it didn't come across my mind that they are ML until hub mention. Cos all along I tot the small cockroaches in my house keep growing bcos the parents (i.e. big cockroaches) are reproducing. There is no sight of the bigger cockroach at all, so the small cockroaches are the one "doing the work" bah.

My sudden appearance must have scare the freak out of them, imagine at one moment "they are enjoying" the next moment, DEAD !! *smack* *ouch* V cruel hor. Boh Bian leh.

The wipeout (see above pic) really v effective, there are now lesser sight of the creature or even if come across are all dead ones.
