CNY 2011

Our neighbours gave us the Lion Head outfit a week before CNY. It came into handy during CNY. Amos greeted his grandparents in the outfit & bringing much joy & entertainment to the family :)

Halloween 2010

The boys participated in the Halloween Carnival 2010. This was their first time. Zac & Amos was dressed as a dracula & skeleton respectively. They had lotsa fun despite the make-up & costume :):)

A little gift for Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival is usually celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar month, which is around this weekend. We bought an exquisite mooncake for my parent this Mid-Autumn Festival. The auspicious red leather casing is simply appealing! It displayed an elegantly designed four-tier box with individually packed double egg-yolk mooncake by Award winning Golden Peony. The casing can be used to place candies on Chinese New Year... ...such a thoughtful design from Conrad Centennial !! :)

Air Flown Dumplings from Saint Honore

We used to have Saint Honore Cake Shop many years back. I still rem my mum will queue up to get their egg tart. She will usually purchase them in a dozen. Its been so long since they move out of Singapore.

I'm surprised to see dumplings so nicely wrapped up & presentable from them... .... all the way from Hong Kong!!

The shape of the dumpling is more of a "right angled traingle" rather than those we usually see over here :)

Besides the meat, there are salted egg & peanuts. The whole combination is unique cos I hardly see the latter in a dumpling :)

The taste ... ... SUPERB !! :):)

Genting/KL Trip : Part I

The boys went for their first oversea trip : 4D3N Genting/KL from 21-24 Nov 08 with my family. All off us boarded a 26 seater executive coach at 7am on 21 Nov 08 :)

The 2 boys kept themselves entertained with the onboard movie & games. Amos fell asleep half way through the journey...
Zac was excited with the trip & looked relax with his head set over his head :):)

We alighted at First World Hotel (Gentings at about 2pm+). However, were disappointed that the rooms will only be available at around 5pm. All of us waited at the lobby. I took the time to walk around & cannot help noticing a few chef working on a X'mas house made of bread & cream. It was amazing :):)

Our hotel rooms : -
First World Hotel :Rm 25-928 (Extremly small, we stayed there for 2 night)
Berjaya Times Square Hotel : Rm A18-08 (So spacious contrast to FW Hotel, too bad we only stayed there for a night !! I didn't even have a chance to sit down on the sofa..... LOL :D:D:D:D)

Photos I took with the boys mostly at Genting cos my camera failed half way. So didn't take much photos at KL *sob* :(:(

The 2 boys had a jolly good time at the Genting Theme Park & Cosmo World Theme Park at Times Square. It was endless fun to them!! :):)

To be continued ... ... Genting/KL Trip : Part II

This is a miracle... ...FIRST Commentator

Happy Daddy's Day

Zac was down with a throat infection for the past 2 days. He had fever as high as 40.4 deg C on Sat early morning. The fever has finally gone down today. He sat down to draw something for Daddy. I'm trying to figure out from his drawing. He drew a few transportation on his drawing. There are single decker bus, double decker bus, MRT, taxi, Daddy's car & an aeroplane. He must have an impression that Daddy is always on the move so the picture best describe him? haha :D

He kept seeing "BIG buses" (double decker buses) on the road but has yet to board on one yet. I told him when he gets better, will bring him to hop on one. :):)

Canadian Pizza for lunch

We ordered the Canadian Pizza 2-4-1 (2 for the price of 1) for lunch during the 4th day of CNY as we expected most of the eateries will be crowded with people.
We had 10" hawaiian & BBQ Chicken. Cost S$23.90 for home delivery.
We were all starving by the time the warm pizza arrived.
The 4 of us gobbled down the pizza with mins....haha :D

\

I think the 3 men prefer the hawaiian, for me.... both were yummy !!

Pineapple Decoration?

My mother-in-law bought the above pineapple from NTUC.
At first glance, I thought it was just a normal decoration for the Chinese New Year.

Later did I realized that they are individual jelly for the kids.... so cute & creative :)

The 2 boys just love them, taking one after another until.....nearly half of the pineapple were GONE !! wahahahaha :D
