Amos got FEVER

Yesterday afternoon, I felt Amos' body slightly warm. I thought it is just bcos of the hot weather. As usual, he follow his brother, Zac to school, carrying his small little bag. Still remember how he looks like with the bag? Click here. When he returns home, the bag is still on his back ..... he is sick & restless, my lil Amos is running a fever :_(

Thinking Blogger & LinkLuv

Thinking Blogger

It was a blessing week for me.
I've got 3 blogging awards one after another. The recent "Thinking Blogger" award was given to me by the gorgeous bride to be, RivKaz . Her pebbles to ripples collection at Journey with Water Learner are inspirational & sometimes spiritual. My in depth thoughts of nurturing my 2 little boys could be the reason why she award it to me. Thank You RivKaz :)

So to all the bloggers out there, I would like to share this award with you too.

All of you are my "Thinking Blogger" ;)

LuvLink

My recent post "My lil Bookworm becomes Sleepy Worm" was chosen by Bobby, Revellian behind the LinkLuv that he has created. According to Bobby, "If I give you linklove, I have carefully picked a post from you that is worth reading. I have created a link directly to that post and that combined is good to show you care, it is great for your rankings and it gives other readers something they will enjoy sharing in and checking out"

From Bobby's exact words, he mentioned "I saw this post from my new friend Janice! Her cute son Amos, just a toddler is into books! I thought it was so uplifting to see and Janice obviously loves her sons (Amos and Zachary). This is another post that cheered me up".

I am glad that he has chosen this post which he thinks is a truly worthwhile post. I will try my best to also maintain this standard for excellence in my 5 picks :)

1) TheNew Parent - In his Tender Moment, it captures his heart warming dialogue with his 3 yrs old adopted daughter. Read it & you will know.

2) Sam Chan - He loves one of my post 'Why we wear wedding ring on the forth finger' . His lastest A Happy Marriage is acquired from there.

3) LFXT - Her ways to happiness & spiritual well being is a motivational post. I like this 2 lines "Never give up on anybody, miracles happen" & "Remember that overnight success usually takes 15 years"

4) Bokjae - In his Having a Thankful Heart reminds us of our Fatherly love. Learn to be appreciative & be thankful.

5) Mariuca - I 'sniffed' through this old post, The 2 of US through her Its raining awards. I felt so much warm & love from just the 2 pictures there.... her words further elaborated her life. This post touches my heart. We should learn from her & 'appreciate the finer things in life'.

Well Done Zachary

Zac has been attending Tumble Tots playgroup since beginning of this year. There is a "Good Bye" song where they will sing everyday after class. I still remember he was lost when the rest of the children sang the song during his first few months there. But now..................... he can sing the song very well. This is what I figure out from his singing this morning ................... Here goes the song :

Tumble Tots Good Bye Song :

Sha la la..... Sha la la ...........

Back to school yet going home

Say goodbye to teachers

Good bye to my friends

GOOD BYE....

He keeps chanting the song until I can also memorize. HahAhAha ........ :D

Zac is able to express himself more clearly nowdays. He is also slowly trying to speak in sentences rather than word by word. I think that is a great improvement consider the fact that he speaks only after 2 yrs old. I felt happy & relieved to see his little improvements. He is a charming, sweet brother to little Amos if he don't bully him............... ;)

Yesterday, he even help Amos with his shoes. His little gesture was really heart warming though he didn't managed to wear for him :) :)
Zac loves to receive encouraging words from us. He will tend to do even better if we praise him. He will feel proud & want to show us more of what he could do.... I think all kids are alike in this manner ;)

My lil BOOKWORM becomes SLeePy WORM

Amos is always very excited when we bring him to the library. He will choose his book, bring it to the table, sit down, "read" really SERIOUSLY (as you can see from the pictures), bring the book back to the shelves, take another book, bring it to the table..... continue the process......

It is really entertaining seeing him busy occupying himself with the books. That day, he happened to be the youngest among the other children there at the Children's Corner, seeing him waddle among the little sis & bro carrying those BIG books around really makes me laugh. I cannot help it so I took out my camera to capture him.

He probably "read" too much for his tiny brain to absorb..................................

The Power of Schmooze Award

I have just exited from my dear friend's Marzie blog & feel really happy for her cos she has been awarded the Blog Fairy Blue Ribbon Award.

Then suddenly, she "pop" in to my blog..................
:
:
:
:
:
:
:
:
:
:
She gave me a BIG present.....

She has passed on the Schmoozer Award to me.
Thank You very much Marzie.

This is cool, I like the badge... with the muscle arm to oversee my blog & protect it.

From what I understand from Marzie, good schmoozers effortlessly weave their way in and out of the blogosphere, leaving friendly trails and smiles, happily making new friends along the way. They don’t limit their visits to only the rich and successful, but spend some time to say hello to new blogs as well. They are the ones who engage others in meaningful conversations, refusing to let it end at a mere hello - all the while fostering a sense of closeness and friendship.

So here I am choosing my 5 friends to receive their own Power of Schmooze Award!

1) Jean author for A Great Pleasure. A gracious lady who is on her way to become a "multimillionaire", way faster than me.... ;p I click off with her the first time I enter her blog.

2) RivKaz author for Journey with Waterlearner. My Singaporean friend is getting married. Drop over to her blog & congrates her ok? Her blog is a good read.

3) Lili author for Handmade4U. I am hooked by her blog. Love the baby photo she put up. She is friendly & even showed my photo to her sis & mum. *blush*

4) JaniceNW author for Twist & Skewer. Janice wrote to me one day & told me that our blog name is only one letter difference. Mine is "g" hers is "w". She will visit my blog everyday. Thanks so much for your support & words, Janice.

5) Lastly, I would like to award to my dear friend Marzie. Did the rule say cant huh? ok..ok....., I link it to the your perfume blog hor.... ;)
I met Marzie at MBL, our friendship blossom from there. We both collect perfume... oh no... I remember I still owe you a post on this..... akan datang lah! I just found out that we both drink cafe 21 coffee. HaHaHahA.... what a coincident !!

Congratulations to all 5 bloggers.
You presence make my blogging journey simply meaningful.
Now it’s your turn to award 5 other bloggers with the Power of Schmooze Award!

Why we wear wedding ring on the forth finger ...

Just follow the steps mentioned below to realise how god makes this a miracle... ...
1. Firstly, show your palm, centre finger bend and put together back to back.
2. Secondly, rest 4 fingers tip to tip.
3. Games begin, follow the following arrangement.

Here you go…
4. Try to open your thumb, which represents parents, it can be opened bcos all human go through sickness and death. That is why our parents will leave us one day.
5. Close up your thumb, then open your second finger, the finger represents sibling, they do have their own family and so, will leave us too.
6. Now close up your second finger, open up your little finger, this represents your children. Sooner or later they will have to leave us too.
7. Lastly, close up your little finger, try to open your forth finger where we place our wedding ring, you will be surprised to find that it cannot be opened easily. This represents husband and wife, this whole life you will be attached to each other.
Real love will stick together forever...

Here goes the meaning:
Thumb represents parents
Second finger represents brothers & sisters
Centre finger represents yourself
Fourth finger represents your partner
Last finger represents your children

Amos' TiGGer look-alike romper

My eldest sis bought a Tigger look-alike romper for Amos recently.
The romper fits him JUST nicely.
There is a hook which shows the tigger head & a tail behind.
We were all laughing cos he looked just like a "cub" when he crawled.
Didn't managed to catch him in that crawling act cos he refused to do it again ... ... haha :D
He started to struggle a bit in the last photo bcos he felt warm with the hook & all enclosed.
So we took off the romper & he started to smile again ... ;)

Cool Things to put in your blog

This is fun, try it ... ;)

Your Chances of Being a Multimillionaire: 56%
You have a decent shot at being a multimillionaire. Surprised? You're confident and a hard worker. Keep it up!

TrAnSfOrMer .... choo choo... teet teet ...

Transformer is simply awesome !!
I catch it on the 2nd day of opening here in Singapore. The ticketing queue is SO ooooooooooooo very the looooooooooooooong. Imagine queueing for tickets in the afternoon for nearly an hour, only left with midnite shows. But I think it is worth it. I am not a Transformer follower when young. Those days, I only love "Little Twin Stars", "My Melody" & "Strawberry Shortcakes" ;)
Before catching the show, I only know & heard of bumblebee. The Volkswagon is a Chevrolet in the show.

I cannot wait to catch the subsequent episodes. I am mightily impressed by the show when it is on preview shots months back. I have never seen cars transform like this to metal robots.... I kept telling myself this is a MUST SEE movie for me. Those computer wizards can actually sit for long periods just to render one frame of the CGI animation of the Transformers. I am actually contributing (by watching the movie at theatre) a bit for their hard works.

What spoil my day for the movie is an irritating fella sitted behind me in the FULL HOUSE theatre. Imagine spending a total of 1/4 of the time enduring his sickening leg jerking on my seats..... Starting off an argument is not my style. I am a gracious mummy mah ... so I just kept my posture UP so that he will also have to do likewise & not lean his "techno" legs on my seats.
That seemed to work but for a while............., he is back to his legs jerk again, this time round "R n B" style ................ :(((((((
